The journey encompasses the most Instagrammable spots like the panda base and sculpture, and you'll have the opportunity to DIY your panda souvenir to take home. Here is a suggested itinerary and the timetable is only for reference. We can also flexibly adjust the itinerary based on your arrangement and the day's situation.
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in urban Chengdu. Your guide will call you one day in advance to your hotel or leave a message to double-check the pick-up time with you.
The first stop is Panda Breeding and Research Center, home to nearly 50 giant pandas and red pandas. This beautifully laid-out park is about 10 kilometers (six miles) from downtown Chengdu, with excellent walkways to various open panda enclosures. The base is called a paradise for national treasures and features luxury panda villas nestled amid the woods.
After carefully observing pandas in the morning, head to a downtown art studio to create your ink painting of pandas. Guided by a traditional Chinese painting instructor, you'll learn to master the Chinese ink brush. You can not only create traditional Chinese ink paintings but also let your imagination run wild, crafting a unique panda based on your envision.
After that, you will be transferred to Chunxi Road to take photos with the 15-meter-tall climbing panda sculpture. Created by preeminent artist Lawrence Argent, this climbing wall panda is called "I Am Here!" It will be an interesting experience to capture the moment with this trendy landmark of Chengdu.
At the end of the trip, we will escort you to your hotel, the airport, the cruise port, or the train station.
